Team Healys LLP To Take Part In The Seven Port Challenge Charity Cycle Ride 2019 In Aid Of The Mayor’s Charities Sponsored By Woodhart Group

From Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th May 2019, Managing Partner, Dino Skinner and colleagues Ros Edwards and Jack Wingrove, will be taking part in the Seven Port Challenge which will consist of reaching the Seven Ports of Shoreham Port, Portsmouth, Caen (Ouistreham), Honfleur, Fecamp, Dieppe & Newhaven, on a 180 mile bike ride.

The Seven Port Challenge is an annual charity cycle ride, which is kindly sponsored by headliners Woodhart Group and associate sponsor Chandlers Building Supplies, to raise funds and awareness for the following worthy charities chosen by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove:

Martlets Hospice – Martlets provide practical care and emotional support to people with terminal illnesses and their loved ones. The Martlets Hospice opened in 1997 and has supported over 25,000 local people during this time.

Rockinghorse – Rockinghorse is a Brighton-based charity that has been helping to improve the lives of sick children throughout Sussex for over 50 years. Funds raised are put towards life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment, with the aim of ensuring that sick children are treated in the best environment possible to support their needs.

Off The Fence – Off The Fence provides a range of support to those who find themselves sleeping on the streets. For 20 years, this charity has committed to its vision; to see an end to social and spiritual poverty in Brighton and Hove.

Grace Eyre Foundation – The Grace Eyre Foundation is a Sussex-based charity that works with people who have learning disabilities. This charity supports service users in being part of their local communities. This includes support in gaining independence, obtaining housing, finding employment and joining activities. They work in Brighton & Hove and across Sussex and the South East.

Each cyclist has committed to raise a minimum of £750 to take part in this challenge, with the aim of raising £50,000 collectively. All cyclists have paid for their own travel and accommodation to make sure that every penny raised supports these worthy causes.
