Covid 19 – Home Office Guidance For Sponsor License holders

Employers and Colleges Will Not Face Enforcement Action For Non Attendance of Employees/Students at Work/College Due to Covid 19 Pandemic.

On 27 March 2020, the Home Office announced that it will not take any enforcement action against employers or educational institutions if their employees/students fail to show up at work/classes during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Employers and colleges are exempt from reporting to the Home Office if an employee/student is absent because of:

  • Illness
  • Self isolation
  • Travel restrictions caused by Covid 19
