EU Commission Approves UK Data Adequacy

After more than a year of talks, the EU has formally recognised that the UK’s data protection laws are robust enough to ensure that data can flow freely between the UK and the EU.

This decision will be welcome news to UK businesses, and means that organisations can continue to transfer data between the UK and the EU without having to make changes to their existing data protection practices.
